I absolutely love this book! This is my 3rd time reading it and like any book read more than once, there are so many new insights and takeaways. It is full of one-liners and lessons that are so simple, yet profound, and resonate with exactly where I'm at in life each time I've read it.
The Alchemist is an easy read about a Spanish boy who follows his heart in search of his personal treasure. It is a beautiful story about staying true to oneself, trusting our hearts will guide the way to fulfilling our individual destiny. It is about love and loss, faith and perseverance. It is about the wild and adventurous pursuit of finding our purpose and fulfilling our dreams.
There are so many quotes that made me stop, say “Wow!” out loud while reading, and read them over and over again. A couple of my favorites are below. Do yourself a favor and get your hands on this short and profoundly sweet book. It will surely inspire you as it does me, each and every time you read it. Now off I go in search of my treasure!!!
